A 27-year-old woman has died following a tragic traffic incident at Westfield Knox shopping centre in Wantirna South, Melbourne, after a vehicle crashed into a bar and pedestrian area during the lunch period on Monday, August 24, 2026.
Authorities reported that Jennifer Keen was on her lunch break and waiting at a pedestrian crossing outside the shopping complex when a grey Tesla lost control and struck the frontage of Martini + Co. Emergency services responded quickly to the scene, but she was pronounced dead at the location despite efforts from bystanders and paramedics.
Police stated that the driver, a 55-year-old woman, and a passenger were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
